Best Middle School TEAMS?

Hawkins MS in Hendersonville defeated Hunter by 28(61-33). Hunter is always a power in sumner county. They play great team defense, have a very good post player, and have several kids that can shoot.

Lobelville Lady Hornets has to be a Team for consideration. This year 10-1, last three years 51-4. THT State Runner-Up in 2001. TNT STATE CHAMPS IN 2002. Allie Robbins a solid post, could be the best. Kazeray Dabbs and Becca Leggan to of the best guards I have seen for 7 graders and then you have Brianna Yarbro defense is the game, she has game. You could say she is the Dennis Rodman of middle school.

Lobelville is 13 miles north of Linden (Hwy 13 North

). Their high school would be Perry County.

Milan Middle School girls are undefeated this year. It is usually the other way around, have not won a game. 2nd year coach Richie Presley looks as if he has turned the program around. Scores so far 57-15 Vs Bradford, 56-12 vs West Carrol, 57-17 vs Huntingdon, 44-17 vs Mckenzie, 46-35 vs USJ and won against JCS 58-15. They play 14 players each game 1/2 8th and 1/2 7th graders. 7th grade players are talented.

I just heard that E.O. Coffman had another big win last nite over Bridgeforth. Was told that the score was very lopsided. Was anyone at the game that could give some details?

Sounds like a lot of the Middle Schools have good teams this year but as usual there is no way for them to play each other to see where their programs really are. The Wendy's Christmas tourney at E.O. Coffman still has room for a couple of good teams. This could be a chance for some of these teams to mix it up on the court instead of on the net. At the end of the year, we are gonna have champions at all levels and districts. A tourney like this gives everyone a chance to see great ball at a great time of year.

Hawkins 42 White House 30. WH was ready 18 - 18 at half. Hawkins coach made good adjustments.

E.O. Coffman is in Lawrenceburg. They are 5-0 with margins of victory as follows:
