Week 2: Campbell County at Central

Central destroyed SD in week 1 38-3. Now they welcome the Cougars to Fountain City this Friday. I look for Central to improve to 2-0 fairly easily. Campbell Co just isn't the same team they've had these last years. Central-35  Campbell Co-10. GO BOBCATS!

CC back to being CC. Central 34-14...... Although you're a Mav, have you heard anything about CC's QB getting hurt last night?

No Disrespect Mav, but if they couldn't score more than 7 on Gibbs I HIGHLY doubt they will score 27 on Central. I also thought I heard that CC's QB got hurt and if accurate, they will need to run more than that jumbo package to win, Slade will have that sniffed out early.

Hadn't heard about the QB, but also had heard that CC had the ball inside the 20 3 times without coming out with any points. I also know that Justin Price is a good offensive mind and will get things figured out on that side of the ball. And Gibbs is not a cupcake either, I remember very clearly a Gibbs team almost beating CC in the regular season and CC having to score on defense to win and then blowing them out in the post season. 5A looks wide open right now and I could be wrong, but just feel CC will get it figured out. This also may be the year Central gets it going, Never know.

This very well could be true, could snowball on both sides for both teams.

I picked CC to beat Gibbs. I know CC is young, especially on the offensive side of the ball, but I think their defense will keep them in this one for At least a half.

Cougars D is pretty strong up front.  Gibbs didn't have but a few chances to score last week, they made more of their opportunities than the Cougs did.  CC will not score in bunches like they're accustom to until their QB is healthy.  Central was impressive on both sides last week.  I expect that to continue and even take a step further.
