Oh my I forgot about scrimmages. I take back what I said earlier of being Top 5. The Smoky bears atleast are about Top 50. And our record is 1-2. New score prediction West 63 Sevier County 2 because a Maryville player runs on the field feeling sorry for us and sacks the West QB inside the goal line. :mrgreen:

Sounds about right. The score anyways.

I saw another set of Rebels play an ugly game vs HVA last year. Things turned out allright for them.

I think West will only have one more loss this season going into the Playoffs. The rebels need to go downfield more as I have watched two games where the rebels receivers can just straight outrun anyo

SC is definitely top 10 most likely top 5. I have said all along they will have a chance at the end to win it all. The SC offense will have nights where they will be unstoppable. The only question is will they stay healthy as the depth is just not there for the Bears this year. I don't know about West they lost 5 or 6 all state players that would be too much for most teams to overcome. In the Cleveland game the Bears just missed on at least 3 big play passing TDs. Some nights they will hit on all of them. Its been that way for the Bears for several years now. Ugly wins are fine but pretty wins are so much better. I just hope they get the W on thursday but I would not be surprised if they put up a big number on the scoreboard. Duece is way better than his performance last Friday would indicate. Also Banks will have some big runs so when both those things happen in the same night the Bears will be a tough out. Most of you know that its all about getting hot at the right time and I think 5A is pretty wide open so most of these top 10 type teams could probably take home the Gold with some luck. :popcorneater:

Until Sevier County adopts a different style of offense, they're not going to win the big one. Dobyns Bennett doesn't count......they always choke in the playoffs. They'll continue to beat up on the NET teams, but they're not going to have much success against teams like West when you can't out athlete them by running by them and chucking it.

Huh? Last year had a 1,000 yard rusher. Scored plenty on SD, lost that game because a corner bit on a halfback pass. Scored more points than anyone else on maryville until they got to cookeville. Don't think we should change too much on offense.

      Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.

      I think this goes on a lot more than most people know, maybe not finishing an entire geometry class in 90 minutes. This situation seems special.

      Clint and Blake sitting at home right now after Sunday service having a family discussion.   Pork Chops and Greens on the menu, and maybe some cookies and milk for a snack later.   Clint probably told him he sucked and ruined the legacy, and would be right.   The next HC sits in MJ, but wears blue, JMO.
