DeKalbsCoachK
Livingston loses to Stone Memorial 4-3 Smith Co. beats Stone Memorial 2-1 Looks like Smith Co. might be the team to beat in the East?
bennettm
From watching or playing most of the East last year, I'd say it will come down to Dekalb Co. and Smith Co. With Livingston possibly springing the surprise win. I think the West will be between Merrol Hyde and Murfreesboro Central. I'm eager to see how the Chattanooga side of Region 4 shapes up. CCS looks like their usual self, while Notre Dame might be down a little. They would still be a tough task for anyone from district 8 to beat. Signal Mtn. might very well upset either of those teams. LaughingGoat
I did see where Macon beat Jackson County 5-0 and Smith beat Jackson County 5-0. So maybe Macon is further along than you guessed. Then again its early, and Smith may have held back after they got up 5-0.
DeKalbsCoachK
Do kids from Red Boiling Springs play on the Macon Co. Team?
LaughingGoat
I don't know. Since Red Boiling Springs does not have a soccer team, I would assume they could co-op to Macon County if they file the appropriate paper work with TSSAA. North Red Bank Mountain have never beaten the Irish.....if there was ever a year that NRBM could ever manage to get that 1st win; this would be it ......ND did lose a very productive Sr class and appears down a bit and struggling with some leadership, but have to assume Coach Shim to do what he has always done......win once the post season play begins...and region 8 has never halted there post season progress; even when Nigro and his girls were there......this is not to say that it want ever happen one day Booger just sayin
DeKalbsCoachK
Big match for 8 A-AA East on Tuesday, DeKalb vs Livingston.
DeKalbsCoachK
DeKalb 2 Livingston 2 I was a very good game. Both teams played well. It looks like the Smith Co. matches will decide the district.
LaughingGoat
DeKalb 2 Livingston 2 I was a very good game. Both teams played well. It looks like the Smith Co. matches will decide the district. So are you going with the following? 1. Smith 2. Livingston/DeKalb 3. Livingston/ DeKalb 4. Macon/ York 5. Macon/ York
DeKalbsCoachK
So are you going with the following? 1. Smith 2. Livingston/DeKalb 3. Livingston/ DeKalb 4. Macon/ York 5. Macon/ York I wouldn't exactly say that.... Livingston and DeKalb have a good chance a beating Smith. As much as it hurts me to say it, if Smith has a weakness, Coach King at Livingston will find it. He always makes adjustments that give his team a good chance. If I can get all of my players healthy, we will give Smith a tough game as well. LaughingGoat
I would say its way more complicated. Teams always lose or tie to teams they should beat. My guess is that Smith may drop one to LA or DeKalb, but one of those two will drop a tie or loss to York or Macon.
