MidTennFootball
YES #6 got the start, and he a couple good runs and has a pretty good arm. He didn't seem to have enough protection in the pocket as they collapsed fairly quick. He gets a good stout line he could be very dangerous. Well that's also the first game Cookeville has really had to put any effort into trying to protect their QB. Most games they dont throw more than 8 times

We have been blessed/lucky to have the speed and size we have had. They will be a good solid program in the upcoming years Hoping we can stay ahead of the curve on them

We have been blessed/lucky to have the speed and size we have had. They will be a good solid program in the upcoming years Hoping we can stay ahead of the curve on them Cookeville had 3 that had over 100 yards rushing each. They had well over 300 yards rushing and 28 points. They just had trouble stopping Blackman's qb. He is very good running and passing. He took over in the 4th quarter. VJ slipped on the 4th down play that would have given them the ball inside the Blackman 20 only down by 14 late. I was inpressed with both teams. Blackman's linemen were very good...blocked to the whistle every play.

Miller had a pretty good game running for 130 passing for 60-70 and Taeler Dowdy averaged 10 yards a carry and ran 27 times for 270 . The line had a much better game than last week for sure. Cookevilles offensive weapons looked fairly crisp.
Antwan
Miller had a pretty good game running for 130 passing for 60-70 and Taeler Dowdy averaged 10 yards a carry and ran 27 times for 270 . The line had a much better game than last week for sure. Cookevilles offensive weapons looked fairly crisp. Cookeville stopped Dowdy pretty well in the 2nd & 3rd quarters. Blackman didn't score but 7 points in those quarters. Armstrong started keeping the ball late in the 3rd & in the 4th. Both are great players. It's difficult to stop both. Angel & Johnson are the real deal too. Angel had over 100 yards in his first 2 carries from the wildcat. Johnson ran very hard. He didn't have much blocking and got almost all of his yards after contact. Edited September 27, 2015 by Antwan
