Yes the Tigers played a tough game Midstate, but these Tigers are going to surprise you.  MC by seven?  I'm hoping that we keep trucking on and send the Raiders back to the holler with a big ole "L".

It probably isn't yet, and I'm sure MC and H'land have a long history.  Here's to making this one into a bigger rivalry in this short time.  A Tiger win will go a long way to accomplish that.

You could argue both ways that this is/isn't a rivalry yet. The two games played between these two teams the last couple of years have been very tight. MC winning both of those tight games. Both games have had playoff implication, just as this season does. I personally believe MC wins this season strictly on experience. FHS is putting together a pretty good record this year, but I see is an FHS team that:

...put some points up late against FRA backups.

...beat a Huntland team that is devastated by injury.

...beat Mt Pleasant for a decent win.

...beat a Cascade team that has TONS of problems.

...beat, but didn't slaughter a Richland team that probably shouldn't compete with them anyway.

...was close, but no cigar against CA. (point could be made CA didn't play well, or that FHS played the game of their lives!

...face a good MC team this week that could potentially (will IMO) bring FHS back to reality.

I hope the MC faithful can keep it together this year without being kicked out! I know they want this win pretty bad!!! I will however go with rebelboy121 for now that our rival game has been/is/will be Huntland for the foreseeable future.

Good luck to both teams!

Go Raiders!!!

Lets get the story straight, the principal didnt get kicked out. And the superintendent was a case of mistaken identity. It was another fan raising heck and he ducked behind the superintendent and the lame hometown ref turned and  pointed at the wrong one to be escorted out.

The reason you dont hear alot of smack from MC side is because there is a whirl wind of garbage going on here.

Fayetteville by a ton tonight. 2 biggest athletes out for MC. This ship has sailed.

Out for the season or just this game?

Well MC have shown they certainly can score and did on their last three opponents. And they even scored 7 on CA, late in the 4th quarter. But I'm thinking their win streak ends Friday. I'll take your prediction and double it, except it's going to be FHS Tigers 45-7. Three offensive TDs, one Defensive TD, two Special Teams TDs, and a Field Goal. Boom!

Keep your phone handy and fully charged and post us some score updates during the game in this one if you would.... :popcorneater:

I only know of one of MC's best atheletes out for the season unless another one got hurt this week that I don't know about. #28 Brandon Scott best wr MC has. #1 Spencer Reese hyperextended his knee last Friday night "I believe it was" and will be 100% tonight. Go Raiders!!

Scott - concussion

Reese - sprained MCL

Both are out this game, I believe.

Word on the street is Fayetteville had a tough time with the zebras at CA last week. Fayetteville is a much improved team and will take this one 28-14

MC always plays the refs. We definitley played them "zebras" last year. They tried to throw everybody out because of how bad they were blowing calls. It was pathetic and MC still got the win. Go Raiders!

I will try to post here, and I am also doing a live report on the other high school web site, unapproved website.  I didn't contact Ballfrog to get set up.  If you have the Coach T app, I will try to text info to that also.

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
