The same question is being asked towards Whisenhunt and the Titans organization.

And I think it's a legitimate question to ask. There's a bit of a difference between the NFL and HS, but I think it's a legitimate question. I think being successful at Lebanon is as much about culture and recruiting as it is Xs and Os. Get the kids out and let them have fun. I'm not sure if that's something Harp is doing or capable of doing. Edited by eers

I don't think the real question is if Harp is a good coach, rather how long does a struggling program stay with a coach before they change in an attempt to become competitive? How much improvement has he shown? Is he capable to winning at Lebanon?

Nothing wrong with the driver of the bus, he just needs some bigger and better tires.

You've been known to question every nearby school in a negative way but...... Take a guess??? Beech!

I'm certainly not questioning and really don't care what happens at Lebanon. I was simply asking if others thought he can win there. My understanding is he's a good coach.

Not sure why someone at Mt. Juliet would be attacking me though, unless it's because I support the current staff. I have no ill will toward your school, program, staff or fans. Not sure what the point of your post was.

Simple sarcasm, no harm intended.

The bottom line is this. The Coach Lebanon needs is right there in Lebanon. The kids respect him and he could get the kids out the hallways. I will wait to say his name out of respect. But its the truth. Lebanon Hig has turned into a inner city school and nobody wants to believe it.

Yes we have a lot of people pushing the truth aside. With so much government housing in Lebanon and overall demographics shifting, it's a melting pot for good talent. Someone needs to get that show on the road over there.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
