Tough week for the region. EH and Hixson played a couple of teams from 5A that have a good shot at making some noise in the playoffs. region games should be interesting.

I think coachT is right. Local paper says Soddy won.

The hixson at stone game could be the most important game in the region. Unless LA is better than expected, I think this game determines the region champ this year.

By the #2 ranked team in 2A and a top 20 team from 5A. Every team in this region except Stone would have been "mashed" by those two teams.

I suppose you could be right, but I just don't think central will be able to improve enough in just one season to beat anyone in the region except sequoyah. I will admit I don't know enough about LA and Cumberland except what I've read here. They could very well compete with stone. I just think Hixson will be the second best team in the region based on the info I have at this point in the young season.
