burnalittle
No GC was probably 25-30 points better than Chester County today. Wilkens got a cheap cheap tech and Erin Lannom sat out most of the 2nd Half because of a bozo official that couldn't stand that GC was wearing them out. Officiating was terrible in this game. GC looked like they were on black top and Chester County was in sand. A total mismatch. Pioneer, you are better than that. I saw the game and the officiating was fine. It was in no way swayed in favor of either team. I have seen several games of GC's and the fans seem to believe that every player walks, fouls or pushes off on every play while GC never fouls or travels. GC is great but if you watch the guards when they try to draw charges, 90% of the time they fall before there is ever contact. Officials see the same thing an it can come back to haunt you on what should be a legitimate charge. And in GC's defense one of Lannom's blocking fouls was probably a charge. pioneer42
Just saying the the older ref needs to go back where he came from. Early in the 2nd half he did every thing he could to get Chester County back in it. If Lannom didn't set out a lot of the 2nd half it could have been worse. Chester County may be a good team. To beat a quick South Side team you have to be pretty good, but they just didn't look like they matched up with GC at all y day. And I have been saying the last few weeks GC has been playing to the level of their competition. And GC can be beat. Never know which GC team will show up. Refs missed a few. 7 fouls on GC in the 1st 3 minutes of third quarter is what was crazy. And Wilkins got a phantom technical in there from the old guy as well. But it evened up as game went on. burnalittle
Well Coach Pipken is married to the guy over the assigning officials. Maybe so but he is professional as they come! Hopefully you are not insinuating anything.

I'm just saying, if my husband was over the assigning of officials you could pick and choose who you wanted to referree your games, but you said he is a professional but I think it's a conflict of interest. But what do I know
pioneer42
Old man was a little too obvious early in the 3rd Quarter. No need for that kinda stuff. He needs to be banned.
RealisticFan45
Well Gibson has beat everyone they played, they beat Southside by 18, Westview by 10 and in Chester first meeting by 14. So I wouldn't say 30 pts because they played them twice and neither time they beat them by 25 or 30. I heard officiating in Gibson is the worse. Hard to beat them there. True or false? burnalittle
Agreed...plus his daughter is the star player....conflict of interest at its finest Well, she had three fouls 3.5 minutes into the 2nd quarter and 4 fouls at the half. Good thing her dad is over the refs!
pioneer42
The one ref was just terrible either way. He didn't need to be out there. He was making every call and lots of them were terrible. He obviously wanted to get attention and he succeeded. The other two refs did fine. Seeing this a lot where you have one knucklehead out of the three and they are the one's making all the calls. Ruins it for the two that aren't bad.
