Early BBQ report from Franklin

An important part of any good wrestling tournament is the BBQ in the area. I have been in Franklin today and I have tested some BBQ for all of you. 

 

Here are two locations I tested today that I would recommend:

 

1. Jim N' Nicks Community Barbeque, 436 N. Thompson Lane

 

2, Puckett's in Leiper.s Fork

We need some detail. Are we talking pulled pork sandwiches ?, ribs ? , brisket...?

I had pulled pork plates yesterday.  Both had ribs and that may be my research for today.

 

I know Nick;s had brisket also. Great cheddar cheese muffins also,

Kind of out of the way, but if you have time, head over to Martin's BBQ Joint in Nolensville.  Pulled pork, brisket, smoked turkey, smoked sausage.  

The Redneck Taco is a personal favorite.

Jack of Hearts BBQ in Spring Hill is really good.  Owned and operated by a wrestling family also!

Judge Beans in Breantwood , up I-65 towards Nashville, has some pretty good Texas style brisket along with ribs,
