FRA-Harding D2-A Finish - Unreal

How is no one talking about this? I've never seen anything like what happened in the second half of that game on Saturday. FRA jumped out fast and pushed the lead to 31 points with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Harding started chipping away, cut it to 14 or 15 by the end of the quarter, then tied it with a minute to go. They even had a chance to win in regulation, but missed the game winning 3; ultimately, they sealed it with FTs in the final minute of OT.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like that, on any level of bball.

it was exciting to watch..Caught the last of it on TV it reminded me a lot of an NBA game..no defense at all. there was a bunch of athletes on the court though especially the one kid from Harding.

Does Harding get any credit for the comeback win?

Harding deserves credit, absolutely. One of the most improbable comebacks I've ever seen. But come on, how does a talented team like FRA choke away a 31-point lead with 12 minutes left (and no shot clock)? I certainly don't want to take away from what Harding was able to do, but jeez, I feel like the only way you could blow a 31-point lead at that point in a game between two quality teams is to actually try to give it away.

That's gotta be heart breaking.  I recorded the game as I will do all the state games to watch during my spring break.  I can't wait to see this

U have to try to blow a 31 point lead in the 2nd half with no shot clock. Cooper should have been in the game, and Pierce should have used at least one timeout. Mind-boggling coaching.

I had no dog in this hunt and just enjoyed watching, but I was screaming at FRA coach to take a time out.   He let his kids fall completely apart - about 20 points into the come back, you just knew it was over.   Harding kids showed a lot of guts.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
