With all this "fear the veer" talk... Have any of you seen Cleveland play this year? (Live or on video). If so, you'd note they have actually utilized the veer very little. So far, it's looked and acted a lot more like a spread. Still polishing the true veer stuff with a new QB. If that gets clicking too...watch out

Exactly, Cleveland's WRs has just as many TDs as the RBs they are very balanced so far this year. Try to stop the veer and you'll get beat deep by Skylar Davis

Yeah I have watched both games on hudl.  That's what I was saying before, there's just a little bit of veer right now.  When you play against a SC coached offense, there is alot you have to prepare for during the week.  It puts the defense in a tough spot to have to line up against so many different looks.  It is especially hard for teams to get a good look at the veer because a scout team just can't throw that together in a couple days to give the defense a real look at what they will see on Fri. night.
