Beech was without their starting QB and only attempted 2 passes all night. The o-line dominated with several kids playing both sides. From what I seen last night #54 from Hendersonville was getting handled by #72 of the Bucs all night! looking at it before the game when Hendersonville was warming up you would have thought they was the bigger and better team.

Outplayed, out-hustled & heavily out-coached in this one.  Some of the strangest play calling I've seen from Hendersonville this year.  Also, wasting a timeout on an extra point only to get a penalty after the timeout for having 12 men in the huddle is inexcusable & cost Hendersonville a shot to go for 2 at that point.  Crabtree had an excellent gameplan and stuck to it the entire game.  Beech O-line was getting a major push on every play. Van Zant looked real good.

Anthony Hughes must be hurt/in trouble.  Not enough carries and when he did he did not look the same player as the past 3 weeks.  Not hitting holes hard & no break away speed that he showed against Cane Ridge.  Blocking for him was subpar also.  Why does he not play both ways? Thought he was an excellent linebacker last year.

Special teams comes back to bite Hendersonville yet again but it should've never been close.  Terrible play and execution from Hendersonville.  Beech boys played very well & disciplined football game.  Crabtree is an excellent coach and displayed that last night as he was a step ahead of the Hendersonville staff all night.

We may see this one again in November.

Maybe. But right now no guarantee these two will make the playoffs. Looks like Gallatin, Beech and HHS are three teams that will be fighting for two spots. HHS trying to avoid starting 0-3 in region next week against Hillsboro. The Gallatin HHS may very well determine who gets that last spot. A lot of work to do for HHS for sure.

what makes you think Gallatin is in line for that last spot? The way I see it nobody is guaranteed in yet and nobody is out of it yet either.

Didn't say I think Gallatin is in line for last spot. Just saying that game will most likely determine the last spot. If HHS doesn't beat a good Gallatin team they may very well may miss playoffs...meaning they would miss out on last spot to someone.

Hopefully HHS can bounce and get a much needed win against Hillsboro. We will see how the boys respond this week.

And I can guarantee you that Glencliff and Hunters Lane are out and Cane Ridge and Hillsboro are in. Station Camp is a long shot to make playoffs. This leaves Beech, HHS and Galatin playing for two spots.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
