Polk County @ McMinn Central

Man, this game is going to be a battle! Polk having a great start to their season. Central riding some momentum. I'm going with Central in a come from behind win.

Should be a good battle. Polk still young in a lot of key positions but this group plays hard all 4 quarters reminds me of the old Polk teams. Hope both teams come out injury free

After the last 2 seasons, I don't see how The Polk kids plays for coach Davis. He treated them

Young man bad. Being our county neighbor, we will always cheer Polk on, but like many Polk fans, we also think bad on Coach Davis's punishments he does to these kids. Good luck Polk and hope you all get it back together this year!

In order for McMinn to even come close to winning this game, they're gonna have to rely on that stud number 4 RB. He is going to have to have a heck of a game. It looks like Polks rushing attack is almost at full strength again. What highlights I seen, they're actually better at passing this year also. I give the win to Polk by 7 or 14

Wow did your kid get cut or someone you know get cut from the team. That's what's wrong with the generation now. Everyone wants but don't put the effort or hard work in. Coach Davis has actually been easy on those kids compared to my freshman year which was his first. But anyways he finally has a group that likes to work, improve, and don't do stupid crap off the field. Polk has been down big time the last 2 years. Everyone knew Polk would have a rough couple years. Davis is a darn good coach when he has the talent to work with. When he does not have the talent, he struggles coaching the young men up.

You don't take away their hard playing and everything else from them kids just cause you can't win a game. Don't strip that "P" off their helmets and in the locker room cause the season isn't going how you want it to go. That "P" stands for Polk, not "pride" them boys busts their butts on that field just to get embarrassed and having that P taking off just cause they're having trouble winning football games. Sorry but I wouldn't want to play for that man or school either. Step up and be the right coach and get better! Not drag them boys down.

That being said, no I did not play for that school not get cut or did my kid, I have tons of Polk friends and work with Polk fans. I do keep up with them. Parents are not happy either. Good luck Polk and hope you all bring it together rest of the year!

Polk almost beat us at Central a couple years ago when we had one of our best teams and they had one of their worst teams, all because of the rivalry.  Should be a good crowd.
