Yep, they should be on cruise control until the semis besides the game against East. Richardson went full beast mode and had over 250 yards last night. He could average 200 the rest of the season if coach wants him to.

Trezevant still has to play East in a non region game. Don't look now but Region 7, 2A Mitchell just beat Lewisburg out of Mississippi. Region 8, 2A MAHS is coming into form as well. Cakewalk, it is not.

Big props to Trezevant. You know they're getting sideways looks from surrounding programs..."you lost to a 2A school from Tennessee?"

Actually, Desoto Central is in the same district/region with Southaven, who barely beat Trezevant 27-26 earlier this season. I don't know how many sideways looks they will get because both of those teams are dominant in their own district/region. Put it this way, both will be in the playoffs come post season in 6A football in MS.

Trezevant still has a non-region game on the schedule against 4A Memphis East don't they? We are talking about a team that is currently ranked in the Commercial Appeal dandy dozen who's only loss is against 6A Cordova, who is currently ranked in the Dandy Dozen as the No. 2 team in Memphis and the 5th ranked 6A team in the current AP Poll. Yea, ya'll not through playing the big boys. If my memory srves me correctly, that game is closer to the end of the season isn't it?

Aww I haven't forgot about East. Although I believe East will win that game I dont think it will be the rout it was last year.

Talk about bouncing back in style.

 

Trezevant, which fell to eighth in this week's Commercial Appeal Dandy Dozen after a lopsided loss to Nashville Ensworth, rebounded with a 38-14 road win at previously-undefeated and 12th-ranked DeSoto Central Friday.

 

Freshman Desmond Clayton led a terrific defensive effort with five quarterback sacks while Tywon Johnson ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns while also scoring on a 70-yard interception return. Clemson commit Cordarrian Richardson was a workhorse, with 34 carries for 254 yards and a score.
