Can Wilson Central make a deep playoff run?

they still can do it.. One loss doesn't mean anything and it wasn't even like they got blown out... MJ has absolutely no pass game so have fun being out by round 2... I swear MJ has the most annoying fans I've ever been around on the T

Still think WC can make a playoff run, but all depends on match-ups. WC can pass the ball and running game is ok. Defensively, they are good even though giving up a lot of rushing yards to MJ. Let's be honest, MJ is finding its identity on O. There are a lot of teams that will have trouble stopping their running game. The passing game opened up after the run was established wish is old school football.

 

Last comment, any fan of an opposing team especially a rival would be annoying.

Don't know what game you watched pal! But the "gaping hole" also known as the Wilson Central defensive line will not allow you to get past Ravenwood, and probably not Franklin.That group was beat on, and laughed at, and basically told where the ball was going, and that they were going to continue to take that beating up front.... Simply because MJ could do that lol. Central and their Tub-o-lards couldn't block traffic... As shown by the 3 sacks the DL of MJ had on Meadors and had him dumping it down fast after the 1st half. Because the Central chubby bunnies couldn't get it done.

 

MJ can stand toe to toe with anyone upfront. And also proved that they could throw the ball when they WANTED TO as well. When you can just bully and beat the brakes off folks upfront, there really is no reason to pass. Its all by design. The Bears live in weight room courtesy of the best high school S&C coach in the nation Curtis Grah. Thats where this ball game was won, starting last December. It was easy to see where Central's line lives... In the doughnut shop.

you have alot of guts to sit here and bash high school kids over a game wow..central still has better atheletes and players overall.. and btw the wc oline played fine all night.. mj jas no pass game and that will eventually get you beat.. oh wait- it has to a terrible ravenwood team and CR.. have fun watching perry squander another team away.. lol if you think their strength coach is that good haha

Based on what? You are spouting off Central has better athletes? Really? Based on what? Just like the 3 tds they were going to beat Mt Juliet by... Based on what? I present to you fact based rebuttals and now you are trashing Ravenwood and Cane Ridge. You are such a homer... Yeah I said it for the second time. Does that annoy you little buddy? Lol. Fact is Ravenwood will beat Central by2-3 touchdowns,and you will see that very soon. And Cane Ridge would be done with Central by halftime. I may have said to much... I better shut my mouth! Right rediculous spewing garbage keyboard tough guy? Lol.

From an outsider, both teams played a very well game.  There were a couple of times where MJ could have pulled away, but the fact is they did not.  WC hung around and fought til the end.  WC does have very good athletes, but MJ has a very good D/O line.  They seemed to be well coached as well.  I like WC offense and how they spread it around to their play makers.  MJ has that old school football look and feel about them.  They run the ball which opens up the pass.  Every offense has to have an identity.  I will also say this, the strength coach at MJ is very well thought of around this area and is very good.  I don't know about the best one in the country (I don't know every strength coach in the country), but he has is highly sought after and looked to for advice.  

 

Both teams have a chance to be very good and make some noise in playoffs.  Should be interesting.

my team isn't even central so how can i be a homer? ravenwood is terrible this year I've seen them play multiple times and cane ridge really wouldn't be all you have to do to them is smack them in the face and you'd be fine, but we know how perry does in the big games.. and btw how is a fact based rebuttal trashing bunch of high school kids calling them lards and saying they live at the doughnut shop.. what a joke.. i ought to report you.. then you want to say your S&C coach is best in country lolololol... you guys need to learn to win with class both players and fans.. fans on here talking trash on boards and then the players storm the field as if they won state..

i agree it will be interesting.. centrals offense is hard to stop when it gets rollin with the playmakers they have.. mj tips a lot of the stuff they are going to do off.. for example when they run the line is super leaned forward and when they pass they are not also some other things when they motion but i dont wanna go into great detail over the board it would take to long haha

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
