I happen to believe that M@xpreps is the most accurate for a variety of reasons. If you take all the data into consideration I think that theirs Is the most accurate compared to usa today or etc. For example, last time I checked Oakland was I think #10 in nation, whereas on m@xpreps they are #26 which imo is a much more accurate ranking for them

Been busy with life brotha and have not kept up w hs ball much. Until this year they could not lol, although the last few years I will say D2 has had a drop off from what it used to be even cpa themselves. Their teams from 2010-2015 were outstanding for their classification.

Games with teams from memphis usually go one of two ways my man: the other team gets up by 14+ and the whole cookie crumbles due to in fighting and lack of discipline, or its a hard fought game to the wire. I see this one as more of the second option due to saulsberry being a good coach. You trying to find beef where there is none lol

First post on the T in a good bit. After watching the BA game on Friday vs mccallie, I have to say Ba is severely out manned up front on dline. They do not have the front to run a 3-4 Like in years past so if a team likes to ground and pound then they can have success like mccallie did. The BA d coordinator seems to be stuck in his ways because even on those great teams from 2015-2017 BA was having to score 35-40+ a game at times to win. Now, even though BA still has athletes on offense, it’s not nearly the same as in the past especially at the WR position group, so it’s gonna have to make the D play better defense whereas in years past they could just get 2-3 stops and win the game on just offense. That being said BA still has the advantage on DaHaven imo Bc of how disciplined they are and their execution on O. If whitehaven can come out and stay in the game up to half and into the 3rd it could get interesting to see how it plays out. Should be a good game and good atmosphere!

they have not played a team from d2 since 2006. Rankin only plays Maryville every yr bc he has too. He left riverdale bc he realized a lot of his players were going to be pulled from the other newer schools in ruth co and saw the writing on the wall and dipped out. case in point is riverdale has only had one or 2 solid teams since he left and fallen off very bad within last 7-8yrs. alcoa does not play up or play out of state teams. all these just show that Rankin is scared of playing against good quality opponents week in and week out instead of beating up on small county schools and ducks competition but you alcoa fans are so brainwashed bc you think a 3a title in TN is the pinnacle of football achievement in a league that everyone knows alcoa is gonna win every yr in a open zone county. not denying anything you said bc its true. those deep runs by carthage and championships by gville are always several yrs apart instead of being consistent. however since maynard has left carthage,it seems that the program has drastically fallen off what it used to be. gordonsville it hasnt been as bad but to an extent it has. combining the schools makes the most economical sense as well as for sports and school purposes.

Until smith county and Gordonsville combine schools then the county schools will never be dominant in sports. All that it does is split the resources and talent across 2 schools for no reason other than some baby boomers and their precious rivalry. Newsflash: the younger people there want to combine bc it makes the most sense for the county. Imagine how good the combined Carthage and Gordonsville football teams from like 2000-2012would have been. More than likely would have multiple state championships. Ive heard also that SC doesn’t have a athletics director so that’s never a good thing. That job could be desirable but under the current circumstances then no one would really wanna mess with it. I remember when Maynard was there that stadium was constantly packed out in black and now it’s barely anyone at games and only 30 or so players. It’s sad
