Meigs should win this one at home. Tyner just isn't playing good ball. In my opinion it's time for a coaching change at Tyner.

This is my opinion: Coach Turner has earned his right to coach as long as he desires; he has been a finalist and has won a State Championship. He has won numerous Region Championships and cares about the kids. Each year is different, however he always puts a competitive team on the field.

 

Nobody (and I mean nobody) in this forum has been more close to this program as I have. You haven't seen what goes on behind the scene as far as Coach is concerned. He has been at Tyner for 26 years and is the "Dean" of the Chattanooga area coaches(and probably most areas).

I work with a former player and a booster and he says the consensus is most are ready for some new blood. He said Coach Turner has rode that one title for way too long. That's his words not mine. I personally hope he stays HC for a long time.

Fair enough, but you will stay mired in mediocrity until a change is made.
