Not trying to make anybody mad or make any friends but gonna call it like I see it. It's wake up time for the Eagles, not sure what happened over the off/bye week and I understand a little lack of focus due to fall break but there have been some big issues the last couple of weeks. This team has had coverage and fumble issues the whole season which should be fixed by now but you add that to the complacent way this team has came out the last two weeks and your just not going to be able to beat a good team.

Rhea sleepwalked through the Cleveland game with no fire and and intensity and then crawled through the first half of the Soddy game before getting a fire lit under their butt at half time. The Eagles played a much better second half but against a team like Walker Valley you come out and play like that and your down 28 by halftime. Just can't happen this Friday, this team better get it together this week and clean up all the junk (bad snaps, fumbles, penalties and busted coverages) and find and maintain the intensity it takes to win football games. No offense to Cleveland or Soddy (just too many injuries) but those are two teams the Eagles should have been able to make short work of but really struggled at times through both games. There are no more easy games for Rhea, the playoffs start Friday for the Eagles because now they are playing for the 4-5A Championship and just as important they playing for playoff seeding and home field. I believe in this coaching staff and they will have this team ready Friday night. Walker Valley hasn't played well at Rhea over the years but this team is loaded on offense and playing with confidence and that is dangerous. Obviously Rhea will need to keep the ball on the ground and away from the Mustangs and their high powered offense. Take care of the football, pound the rock, eat the clock, shorten the game and ware that Mustang defense down.

GO EAGLES!!!!

it's all about November.

I think a good solid win would go along way heading into the playoffs. If we can just shake off the last two week performances and come out with a good performance and win. It should give this team plenty of confidence for another deep run.

Also agree, set the tone this Friday night.
