Pretty sure Dresser Winn deserves the award. As you point out he is the best player on the number one ranked team and he won it last year. Don't think I have seen anyone argue that fact! Varo started

Why hasn't everybody blocked this clown. His character is less than zero

 

Say what you like about him...he only says what he thinks, and he's right more often than not.

 

Griping about Mr. Football nominee's is pointless...it's a subjective award, and people's opinion is all that matters because that determines the winner.
