I started a new thread (Watauga All-Conference Teams) because this already had three pages. Please post your All-Conference teams on that board.

I do not know if the conference champion gets an automatic trip to the regional. Last year Hardin (Elizabethton's coach) lobbied for it real hard. It may be that he was successful this year. I hope not. If you do that and the conference champion loses in the first round of the district tournament, who goes to the regional and how are the teams seeded? If a team wins the conference and cannot beat the worst team in the conference in the first round of the district tournament, they do not deserve to go to the regional tournament.

 

I wonder if he will be as fired up about it next year. Very doubtful.

Which team did you throw out? Because last time I checked there was 8 teams in the conference. 7th and 8th place play a pig-tail game to play #2 seed.
