I bet that adamsville team ruined his perfect week!

You've got it! To think that I felt bad for Scotts Hill drawing Adamsville in the first round. I thought to myself, poor Scotts Hill has had such a great season and they have to play one of the best in the 1st round.

 

Cloudland over Harriman is what got me in 1A, but that was a back and forth game.

That is a bunch of mess.. how's a team that is playing basketball better than teams still playing football?

It's a ranking of a team's entire season, not just last week. Every minute, every second of football that was played this season is taken into account. It doesn't matter if the third string was playing because that was who the school put on the field to represent the team. Despite what Roy Dillard thinks, this is not a poll, it is a rating system that uses math (tangible data) to rate the performance of teams. Roy likes polls that one person uses bias and opinion to try and rank teams. So yes, teams still have a shot at winning a championship, that doesn't mean that they performed better the entire season.

Roy just likes Murphy,s pole. Puter ratings are MUCH better. That 3rd string junk can fool the puter but as the playoffs go along. It catches up fast.

What kind of mess is this pole? You have six teams that are ranked behind those Trousdale boys that are still in the playoffs. Those Trousdale boys got beat. I garuntee you this is a bunch of mess. You think im joking but im not.

Trousdale is 8-3 now and just lost to the number 7 team in the state which I had picked, Whitwell has lost 5 games this season and just beat the 22nd ranked team in the state which I also had picked. Just because they got an easier draw in the first round than Trousdale doesn't make them the better team. This simply means they are still alive for a shot at the championship because they had a much easier matchup in the first round. You have to stop looking at this as a poll, this isn't opinion, this is fact. It is the performance of every minute of football played this season, nothing else.

 

Take 2A for example. Mitchell is not better than Adamsville for the entire season just because they are still in the playoffs. Mitchell who has lost 4 games just beat a 1-9 Hillcrest team in the first round while Adamsville lost a close game to a very good Scotts Hill team. This was Adamsville's first loss of the season. Does Mitchell have another game and is still alive, yes. Does that make them better than Adamsville though, I would think most would agree that they aren't.

      Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now.
