It's the playoffs and if HV had had one more good run or completion it could have been tied up at the end.

I will give it to AE, they stepped it up and the D did what they needed to do....But If AE doesn't throw caution to the wind Friday and play hard on both sides of the ball for 4 qtrs, MC will take full advantage

I don't have a problem "accepting" the fact they lost. They played a good football team and had many opportunities to win the game, and they very well could have. Limiting AE to 20 points after they scored 74 the week before is pretty dang good if you ask me. You win the game get over it, no need to gloat and act like your something special. Good job AE

I believe that's being said because no one is giving AE their props for winning the game. They're saying, "oh HV held AE to 20 points". Like Coach said, "I don't care how many points we put up as long as it's more than the other team!"

Mainly the locals picking MC. Most everyone else in the state is picking AE to win and the majority has picked AE to rep the east since summer. Hopefully our kids make a game of it.

Thats the bottom line right there. Dont matter how pretty it is as long as the scoreboard is in your favor at the end. Hopefully Marion can make it a game like Happy Valley did.
