Shout out to the Lions and their awesome fans. What a way to put an exclamation point on the end of a freak of a season. You weathered the early storm and took back control in route to one of the most dominating victories in TSSAA Championship history. It is an extra good feeling to know that we have the toughest region in 1A and that this area knows how to raise up Champions. This one is for you Lions. You deserve it and you absolutely earned it. I couldn't be any prouder if it had been UC winning today. Thank you for bringing the Gold Ball back to our region.

Wo . Thank you! :D .. Now we need to learn how to keep things rolling. With Rang's background, the examples of UC, Trenton and Lake Co too, all with many championship appearances & multi-gold winners (recently & in past) ... it really is amazing. I guess if one will just look & learn, then listen to those leaders who've done it and follow their winning recipe, they too shall win. Not easy, but truly worth it. Now that two of the best in Reg 7 moved up to 2A, our W. TN area very well could be getting gold in both classes again. Looking good imo.

UC going to be a favorite to win 2a right out of the gate if they get rid of that injury bug
