Well, the region semi-finals matchups look to be 2 very good matchups... Although I haven't seen CA play, I believe it will be a very competitive game between them and Wayne County. And we have seen the Loretto/Collinwood game can go either way with Collinwood winning 2 out of the 3 games this year..What do y'all see as the key matchups?

Wayne Co can't let CA get out on them early or they will be in trouble. That's what happened to PC last night. Outscored 30-8 in first quarter then by 2 in 2nd quarter. PC outscored them by 4 in 2nd half.CA will pressure a lot early to try to get turnovers. They're a very hard team to come from behind against. Very fundamentally sound. Turnbow for Wayne Co can go off inside if he stays out of foul trouble and that should open up the shooters. #5 the PG is quick he makes everything go for them.

when I have seen CA they take a lot of threes early but their real goal is to get to the basket for easy twos.  I would collapse back inside and not sell out to guard the perimeter.  I think thats what they want you do.  ..just my opinion    I think wc has been a tougher matchup for them because the cats have a couple of big men inside to prevent all those easy layups

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
