You're right BasketballIQ, I know we've had discussions/disagreements in the past couple weeks but it's time to stick together now, I hope everybody keeps sleeping on 12A.

I hope the Summertown fans will be there at 1:15 to support Perry Co because we will be there at 4:30.

I spelled out Perry Co because it seems that PC only stands for that other PC on here. Good Luck !

I totally agree.... with Loretto winning tonight, Distruct 12A has 3 teams headed that way..and yes, I will be there rooting on our fellow 12A undersdogs!

Something most have missed out about the 11 3's is that she broke the record (10) set by the only starting senior on this year's team. If they're on, they can shoot the lights out.

Listening to the end of the game Dresden had missed several free throws late in the game but made them when they counted. Got to make them in a close game. At this stage of the season any given team can win on any given night.

I for one have the utmost respect for Perry County. I've got some very good friends in the area who we used to drag race with. Fun loving group over there. Every rural school goes through what the other PC has. Good luck to both teams.

I have followed coachT for years & saw your recent posts regarding TCA & calling out players by name so I just had to comment. Let me just say that your PG cost your team the game against Dresden. She's no doubt a great ball handler but lost her composure & ultimately lost the game for Middleton with her bad attitude. She didn't make another free throw after putting her finger up to her mouth & shushing the Dresden crowd & couldn't handle being face guarded & the defensive pressure #5 & #12 put on her. #20 is one talented player & did everything she could do. She will be a great D1 player.

Pls believe me and other Middleton peeps have talked about that...she couldn't even hit a free throw after that...no one is safe as u see...I have no filter and will talk about my own team/players (Middleton) u don't get all in my feelings about stuff like that!!!

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
