FORMER RED BANK COACH/UTC WRESTLER; KEVIN EMILY WILL BE SELLING HIS BOOK PATHFINDER AT THE KELLER CLASSIC

Special thanks to Coach Ben Smith for allowing me to sell my newly published book on wrestling at the Keller Classic. PATHFINDER: The Journey of the African American Wrestler will be on sale all day. Price:$15   optionalstart.org

This book is about the contributions of some of the most successful American wrestlers ever. I personally interviewed each wrestler and/or family member to insure accuracy. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY WRESTLING JUNKIE!!!

I'm honored and proud to be included in Kevin Emily's new book, "Pathfinder" chronicling the life and careers of some of the greatest African-American men and women wrestlers of all time.

The information in the book gleaned from his in-depth interview of me, as with the other people in the book, should provide great reading for anyone wanting to know some of the personal stories behind our success, making "Pathfinder" an excellent addition to any wrestling library.

- Lee Kemp  (3X World Champion, 3X NCAA Champion)

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
