A terrific win for Moore Co. they will do well!! Gym was unbelievable advantage, it was rocking. For Coffee their 3 best players were in foul trouble the entire night and Benjamin was double and triple teamed and with a couple of key players out of the game a ton, there was no one to make shots. Coffe wibe fine win their 3 sophomores come of age. Moore Co. will have a great year. They also beat Riverdale this summer by double figures.

I was at the game (i was a neutral watcher, wasn't for either side), and from what i could tell, the officiating was horrible on both ends. Yes, Benjamin was getting knocked around a little too much then necessary, but she was over the back on some of those offensive rebounds of hers also. Both sides can sit here and argue about which team got the worse end of the officiating calls, but when it comes down to it, Moore Co. won that game and there's nothing anyone can do about it now. Coffee Co. will be fine, i'm guessing they finish ahead of Lawrence Co. but behind Shelbyville in their district, but thats my opinion. I've said all along Moore Co. would be strong, and that Fanning would lead them to Murfreesboro. Its her year, and shes probably going to make the best of it.

I am a post also and I know how it feels to be pushed shoved and knocked around under the basket. True some refs may miss over the back calls , but when you are that tall it is real easy to pull down the rebound over someone. Hey but don't sweat the loss coffee co. Mc enjoy the win while it lasts but don't live off of it. There are many more games ahed and to keep tha good feeling you have to win those too. :D

none taken I think you are right about cashing in the chips. I think both teams played a GREAT game, no the oficiating wasn't very good on either end but it doesn't really count and I know that both teams learned from it ( and by the way I was not a neutral watcher ;) ) This game won't mean anything when it comes time to go t o the boro. the only thing that will have mattered is that both teams learned from it. ;)

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
