tnprep
Losing a week of practice & 2 scrimmages had to hurt the offense. Hopefully they will start clicking soon. Both sides of the ball seemed more disciplined & did not fall apart when things did not go their way. We need to encourage these kids. They have been working hard. Good things will come. I have all the confidence in the World that this coaching staff has the program going in the right direction . It is going to take some time and I'm aware of that. But I am always going to give an honest answer when I see a problem. Just like in basketball, sometimes a kid coming in off the bench instead of starting is better for the team. As a coaching staff, it's their job to put the best players in the best positions to give the team the best chances to win. But if one kid is struggling, I don't see what it would hurt to play another one for 2 or 3 series just to see what they can do?

He's not comfortable throwing the ball because he acts like he is scared of getting hit. You can't play scared or where you think too much. But if the coaching staff is sticking with him, it must be because he knows the offense better or something.

The only other thing that I wasn't pleased with was all the field position we gave up just because our guys wouldn't run up and catch a punt. I don't know if we haven't practiced it or if we don't have anyone that can do it consistently? But the things I'm concerned about can be fixed and I'm sure they will. I don't mean to sound like I'm talking bad about anyone, because I'm not. I'm just telling you what I saw and what I feel like needs to be worked on. These kids have worked their tales off and deserve to taste some success. But there is still a lot of work to do and a long way to go. GO DRAGONS!!!
