WrestlingGod
Baylor's Mason Reiniche is wreslting today at 69kg Greco. He dropped his first match to Vladyslav Kravchenko of the Ukraine. Kravchenko is currently in the semis and needs a win to make the finals and pull Mason into the repechage round. When was the last time we had a Tennessee boy make the world team? Edited September 5, 2017 by WrestlingGod

cbg
Congratulations to Mason Reiniche (The Baylor School) for making the USA Cadet World Team. To my knowledge Bill Harlow (Saint Andrews Sewanee) would possibly be the only other wrestler from a Tennessee high school that has ever competed for the USA in the World Championships. Both Philip Simpson (Montgomery Bell Academy) and Michael Hooker (Father Ryan) are the only two other wrestlers that may have represented the USA in an international tournament. Marable finished 8th in the 2014 Worlds in Uzbekistan. Hes also got a good list of International tournament wins too ( 2011 Pan Ams, 2013 NYAC, 2014 Yasar Dogu where he beat Burroughs 4-4, 2014 Grand Prix, and the 2015 Dave Schultz Memorial).

My fault as Nick totally slipped my old mind! Nick was one tough wrestler.
ghouse
Unfortunately it looks like Mason lost his first match in the repechage. Still a great opportunity for him to gain that experience traveling and wrestling internationally while representing USA. Definitely a limited set of TN wrestlers that have represented the US internationally. There are probably a few wrestlers that have taken part in some international tours where they were likely part of a US delegation but not a representative of USA in an official FILA / UWW championship or event. Tommy Brackett did recently represent the USA at the JR Pan-American championships in Greco-Roman where he picked up a silver medal. Christian Salter wrestled in the Cadet Pan-Am's but that was representing Puerto Rico.
