Codeman66
John Watkins had a time of 11.24 in the 100 meter at the AAU National Champships.
NCS03
I dont believe people should even take hand times into consideration because they are so off.

gomabsilk
The Oakland 4x1 relay team, actually ran a 41.1 that year. It will never be broken!!!
4AFAN
BOO--I seen both Maurice and Chris run, and Maurice looks like he might be the fastest. Maurice is much taller, but not sure about his dedication, or eligibility.
postup00
Peacemaker I hate to burst your bubble, but Elmore has been blowed out the blocks plenty onf time by both Chris and Maurice. I think he may very well remember them buys from KTC. CETC has some talented sprinters on thier squad but it can't amount to that of KTC. He may be fast but he has no chance with them, he souldn't even be listed on the smae spread as those two.
madspd300
What about any of the other events? Does anyone think that there is someone out there that is even close to breaking the 110m HH record or the 4X400.
statebound125
The state 100 meter dash record has already been broken 3 times this year by Chris Pearson. But with no wind guage, no state record. Chris Pearson will have the state 100 meter record he keeps breaking it over and over. If you don't believe me watch him at state. KGP3428
No automatic timing...no state record. I bet that he has yet to run a F.A.T. race this season, but I could be wrong.
peacemaker
How many FRESHMAN(being the Keyword in this sentence) do you know that can run a 22.6- 200m? Elmore won his first High school Meet today in Cumberland Co. [Edited by peacemaker on 3-27-03 11:16P]
Guest kenwoodrun
I love Pearson as much as the next guy, but he hasn't run a legit FAT time yet. That's not to say he won't, in fact...I'm curious enough that he could take a shot at the record that when he comes to Kenwood Classic at the end of April that we'll probably borrow a wind gauge to add to the Finish Lynx timing we already use so that if he does run the perfect race, he can receive credit for the record. We've already had one official state record set at our facility recognized by TSSAA, so we can set up a legit shot for him on April 26th. Pearson was on our track last nite...we handtimed because it was a small meet, and I had him in 10.62 which rounds up to 10.7 which converts to a 10.94 FAT converted. That's a long way from 10.51, but everyone tells me he has run considerably faster than he ran last night. I also handtimed him at 21.5 in the 200, which was pretty quick for cruising. He obliterated our sprint core, but we still won the meet on the boys side
