Region 1:  Johnson County, Unicoi County,West Greene, Chuckey Doak, Claiborn, North Greene

Region 2: Alcoa, AE, Kingston, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg-Pittman, Northview and Scott

Region 3: Red Bank, Loudon, Sweetwater, Signal MNT, Brainerd, McMinn Central

Region 4: Sequatchie, Smith, York, Grundy, Upperman ans Cannon

If the playoffs were today Here are my Picks:

Region 1#1 Johnson                       Region 2 #4 Pigeon Forge

               #2 Unicoi                                            #3 Kingston

                 #3West Greene                                #2AE

               #4 Chucky Doak                                 #1Alcoa

Region 3#1Red Bank                    Region 4 #4 Upperman

               #2 Loudon                                       #3York

Sounds pretty good.  Longhorns have to take care of business first.  But I hope it turns out for them it's been along time.   Talking about cycles try since 88

Alcoa/Chucky is Alcoa, AE disposes of West Greene, Kingston /Unicoi is a toss up, and  Johnson takes care of the Forge

Due to the fact Alcoa had a BYE last week, AE would be #1 seed if Playoffs were to start today......

 

Please don't overlook AE, I know you all want Alcoa to repeat as Champs but AE has a lot to say about that...

The last spot in region 2 is going to be a mess up until the last game of the year. So far Scott has beat GP, PF beats GP, GP beats Northview and then Northview beat PF. Northview has Scott this Friday and PF has them the last game of the year, so alot left to play for. I don't think GP has any hopes of making the playoffs.

      Yes in the regular season. But once Westview's young kids got the experience from the season, they only lost to Dyersburg by a field goal in the playoffs. Westview was young last year. They will be tough this year

      That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.

      Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
