No just Lexington. But I never count SS out. They are always athletic and find a way to win. I mainly stay in the 13 AA area. I think that district is really down since the split. I think a lot of good teams are in the 15 AA and 16 AA and will end up knocking each other out during the regional

you are right. Region 8 is loaded. Fully expect 2 teams from Region 8 to advance to the Boro. I don't see any team in Region 7 beating any of the top 6 teams in region 8.

But 1 guy will not beat theses good teams he must have help.  Are any of these teams very tall like anything over 6'5?  Lexington has kids about 6'4 and under. If they are all equal in height then the advantage will be athletic ability and until proven different that goes to Southside

Chester Co. isn't a one man team. Other than the "shooter", the point is athletic, can score, and finds open teammates...they have a wing player that's smooth to the basket and shoots well, and they have some role players who do a good job, the least of which has some size, but hasn't shown much focus or intensity. They're not going to finish first in the district, but you can't have a bad performance against them and not worry about the loss.

There is no doubt that Chester County is going to be much better this year and will steadily improve the next 2 years and will be a contender once the new coach gets his culture established. Coming from a college head coaching position to high school is a transition and it is also a huge culture shock for the program. Chester is not to be overlooked for sure.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
