Spring Hill @ Macon County Round 1

Macon will win! Terrible calls last 3 games but hopefully Tssaa will send unbiased ones and call it fair!

If the Macon defense can stop Smith and a few others they can win. I wouldn't sleep on Spring Hill though. Whoever wins has to make the trip to Marshall County

Spring Hill wins by two TDs. Too much speed for Macon County to overcome.

I gotta go with Spring Hill in this one. They played a much tougher schedule. They had losses to 6A Franklin, 6A Riverdale, 4A Marshall County and 4A Columbia where they allowed +31 points in all those games. But they held everybody else to 20 or less. And they scored +21 points in 9 of 10 games.

Yeah, those Red Raiders are going to be better prepared for the playoffs. I give them at least a two TD favorite.

The real question is how healthy is Dante Smith? He has been hampered by a nagging ankle injury since the Maplewood game. Didn't seem to bother him much against us but he left the game early against Franklin and only had 80 or so yards against Lawrence County.  If he is not 100% against Macon it kind of puts the game in question. Spring Hill has some playmakers but none they rely on more than Smith.

Geo, i witnessed first hand all the good calls that went macon counties way up there friday night. Thats the only reason thr score was as close as it was. Its tough sledding in 4a. I recommend any players living in the macon county area to move further west to a little town outside macon county that is still 2a.  That would give you a much better opportunity to compete for a state championship! Carlislle, good luck at the next level. You were a special athlete for the macon county tigerettes! They will seriously miss you!
