Friday Main Event at the Blue Cross Bowl!

We will again be broadcasting from the Blue Cross Bowl in Cookeville.   We arrive early Thursday morning and we'll be there until Sunday morning!   I plan to interview both Coaches from each Title game immediately following their respective games.    We'll do a Blue Cross Bowl Recap show this Saturday from 4:00-5:30 PM (central time) and discuss each game and play those Coaches interviews for you guys.   

Our show airs each week on 93.9 FM in the middle Tennessee area.   If you can't get the signal, I'm posting links to download our free mobile App as well as a link to the stream from our station.   If you enjoy our program, I highly recommend downloading the DUCK Mobile Phone App to listen to us each week during the season.

It's been a great season of high school football coverage for the Friday Main Event.   We interviewed close to 50 different Coaches from around the state this year and hope we brought a good product to you guys each week.   Very excited about next season already!   Hope everyone has a great off-season and enjoys the holidays!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
