If the patriots show up on defense and swarm to the ball like they have been it could be a long night in kenwood

If our 1st team defense was in the whole game it would be a shutout. I predict a big lead though and a chance for 2nd team defense to get in there and they give up a TD

In all seriousness, no need to sleepwalk through this game. Another good chance to iron out kinks for the first teamers, and hopefully get some more reps for the youngsters in the 2nd half.

Just keep on grinding.

We must not take this team too lightly. Because of the heat, practice this week hasn't been all that great. They have one of the better RBs in Clarksville according to their local press. They gave up 36 points to a stout NE but have only given up 20 once, 10 once and 7 twice, Sounds to me like they have a pretty fair defense. Taking teams too lightly has been deadly on occasion in the past (anyone else remember the 2009 game at Clarksville high?)

Totally agreed. Can’t forget Kenwood coming to Paris and winning in ‘05 either.

I can understand having a bit of an emotional letdown after last week’s big win, plus the fact that this is your typical ‘trap game’ sandwiched between two of the better games on the schedule, but we still have to handle our business.

Plus, and I mean no disrespect to Kenwood, but the plain truth is that these games are useful. They are chances to perfect inadequacies and also work on new things. The best programs get the most out of them. I thought we did a brilliant job of getting the most out of our games with Dyer and Liberty, and I’d like to see that continue this week.

Go Big Red!

While Kenwood's record is 2-3, the 3 loses were all on the road, to teams with a combined record of (15-0). Their strength of schedule is 2nd in all of 5A.

So they have played some very good teams - but haven't beaten them.

I expect this to be much closer than some of the overly excited big red fans.

Respect all opponents!

Go Big Red.

It wont be close. Thats insane talk. We take care of business it will be at least a 4 TD game. That's actually showing Kenwood respect.
