Thank you gbrpats for some words of wisdom. I was about to prescribe some heavy duty meds to these other posters. To compare this year's Kenwood to the '09 Clarksville team or the '05 Kenwood team is ludicrous! Running clock whole second half. Freshmen played Tuesday so they should be rested up to play the second half for the Patriots.

Actually this Kenwood team is pretty comparable to the 09 Clarksville team in terms of potential lol

However, I do believe this Henry County team is far superior to either the 09 or 05 versions. If we play to our potential, this should not be a game. That was never in question though.

Will Parrish 10-15 passing for 249 yds and 2 TDs. I believe he now has the 3 highest single game passing yardage totals in school history. 

Ethan Thompson with 6 catches for 212 yards and 2 scores. Broke his own single game record of 190 receiving yds set earlier this season. 

I think these two are borderline telekinetic at this point.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
