Regions 5AA vs. 6AA Scenario

Waverly did, but you said you "expect a second round exit against Waverly" and I just dont see Waverly being a #2 seed out of 6AA and LC playing them in the second round.

after 1 week 4 teams will be left from the 2 regions.  CA will be the #1 seed in R5 and LC wil be the #2 seed. 

Waverly will be #1 seed in R6. 

so wouldn't LC play Waverly in rd 2?

it will be a good hard fought game but i think Ca played terribly and still thumped Eagleville pretty good. looks like you're crowning LC already lol 

If CA limits dumb mistakes i think they are about 2 TDs better. they are also at home which is a somewhat sterile environment, BUT its a long trip for LC

i certainly will be cheering for you guys.

LC got short end of stick with having to play HC tonight. That’s a day lost to prepare for CA. I watched CA against Eagleville Friday night. I honestly think LC has a good shot at the region title. CA defense looked OK but was not impressed with their offense. Maybe they are still adjusting to new QB. Anyway I look for a close game Friday night. Pulling for LC.

The Hickman County game does create a short turnaround and recovery time to prep for Friday. The thing is, this time of year, the guys are about over going at each other in practice every day, might as well play a game. If the first-teamers do what they are capable of doing tonight it will be alot of young guys playing the second half.

CA played really badly fri at Eagleville and the outcome was still not really in doubt ever. 

CA defense will control the game. LC scored 2x against Forrest on turnovers inside our own 20.  i think Eagleville and LC have similar in quality offenses.
