CCS at Webb

Hey Sparty......you know what you saw from both teams. You're a pretty honest evaluator on here. Given your comments on the "big line" of CCS, are we in as much trouble as I think we are next week? Needless to say, they've got a stud carrying the ball. We've made some changes to our D, since you guys throttled us, but it didn't help us a lick last Friday.

With as poorly as our offense is playing right now, we don't need to be worrying about anything but Silverdale this week. I'm just trying to figure out if we're going to be the 4, 5 or 6 seed (for travel plan purposes.)

I think CCS will score. I don’t think their back end on defense is very good at all. If you can give your QB any time this could be a shootout. Grace will need to get a lead early and force CCS to throw it. If they can do that Grace will win. It really depends on who make who play the others game first. But as I said I don’t find CCS defensive backfield very talented against decent passing teams.

I saw him last year and he was definitely a load.

I just hope he doesn't flop on the ground when the ball is snapped like Webb's entire DL did against us. We apparently don't have a solution for that.

Haslams Pilot Petrolium School of Knoxville Spartan trenchers r definately condition to wear the opposin teams shins and ankles out...no doubt....may b why they never know where the ball is

....u want have to worry bout the Karns Baptist 50 floppin on the ground....he dont have too..that boy is a hand full.....now his emotions floppin is another thing.....then again them Irish boys rub that head of his into the ground a couple Xs which got him a warnin flag...then the second warnin flag and the won that sent him thru the exit door....may have been because of a stray wet willy

Yes he can be a dominant force, IF he can keep his helmet on. Evidently, he doesn't like wet fingers and who knows what else in his earhole, or scrotum grindin' on his head. Who would?!?! Credit to the Irish maulers for pulling all that incendiary stuff off without nary a zebra sniffin' the goin's on. Then again, they had a hard time seein' much of anything Friday night.

Call our DB for unsportsmanlike for, I'm not even sure what he did with the ball after the INT that they didn't like. BUT.......all the while they convened to get their story straight to sell to our relentlessly angry coach, Irish #tres was doin' the Richard Simmons warmup routine right behind them taunting our guys......nada.....he did what? Zebras sure couldn't see anything in green last night.....must've been color blind!!!

I had an O-line momma sittin' in front of me Friday night, and I'll tell ya......one more nasty gram from cinco-cinco, and she was heading to the field with her fryin' pan herself!!! Never even seen her get a tad upset before....until Friday night. It was quite a sight!!! Loved it!!!!

Sounds like we maybe shoulda tried that Friday night? Hard to see which one of those sneaky leprechauns has the darn ball, when the LBs are staring multiple linemen in the face tryin' to see through 'em to find their man. EVERYTHING STARTS AND ENDS UP FRONT!

    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
