Take all teams with a .500 season record or better, divide them into 4 or 5 playoff classes by enrollment. Teams schedule who they want but can’t just go totally for soft opponents since opponent winning percentage would be used to help order playoff brackets. I like that too. Of course it’s better for strength of schedule to play a role—it just hasn’t in the past. Ultimately as long as each and every game counts for something I’m all for it. Potentially look at Florida’s system, they balence overall record with strength of schedule very well.
Indian
Order them by wins in each playoff bracket and use strength as a tiebreaker.
midtnmale
LoveForTheGame-- Stratford (2-8) just beat Camden (6-4) in the first round of the payoffs. Do you think that your example, White House (6-4), would have been able to to that?
