How will the Dragons do this year? How did they look against LC in scrimmage?

Too early to tell just yet. Fridays scrimmage with Greenback will give us a better idea.

I did read earlier that Clinton will play Oliver Springs in the 1st qtr and White County in the 2nd qtr at the Jamboree at Kingston on August 16th.

Clinton scrimmaged Lenoir City this past Friday. I didn't go. As far as I know, neither team ever scored unless it was after my friend that went had left. I heard our D Line played well. That's about all the information I have.

Awesome!! Let me know how both teams look if you don't care.

Clinton lost their best player on play 3 on a 70 yard pass was ran down and during the tackle got a compund fracture about 5 inches about ankle.First 3 plays Clinton looked good.GB settled in and played ok but we have alot to work on.Starters GB won 3-1.Clinton missed on some pass plays but overall GB was the better team by far.

I hate to hear it when any player gets injured. Thank you for the update. Good luck to you guys this season!

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
