Top 5 in D2AAA

I would expect BA and MBA to be the cream of the crop once again. Maybe an Ensworth, Baylor, or McCallie has a good year and makes a run. I think Memphis area schools will be down this year after they all lost quite a bit. Knox Catholic is somewhat of a wild card coming over from D1, but they haven’t fared too well against BA recently so I would think they are probably still a bit behind them

there had better be an improvement......with the suck creek red raiders addin the likes of brainerd, harrison central and 2A tyner to their schedule.....not to mention they have still kept the Sword of joshua Full Gospel Independent Pentecostal Assembly on that Baylor schedule......thats sum serious competition that Big Time D2-AAA school is puttin on that schedule.....not

..hows that Haslam School of yours up in Knoxville gonna fare...since Baylor brought that runninback of theirs down to Baylor

....very difficult to miss pickin a top 5 in a classification that has only 10 teams.....Baylor aint gonna b one of them

Booger just sayin

I said nothing about top 5. I said Baylor will be much improved. The talent on this year’s roster is eye opening. If they stay healthy they will be a tough out for anyone.

Nice Spartan green boost to their roster can’t hurt! How’d that happen Spartan 4 Life?

Ya know I’m not sure. But if he were to have gone anywhere I would have wanted it to be Baylor if not Webb. And they are incorporating him nicely. Baylor coaches have said he’s the most explosive kid to ever come through the program. Which is not news to me. I’ve watched him since 8th grade.

    • The Girls Basketball team I am a part of played for a gold ball this season. One of the biggest differences in the sports is that there is no field prep/maintenance in basketball.   Our baseball is successful and play 30 games in the regular season as well. All of the teams dedicate A LOT of time in preparing for their next opponent.

    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say they have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
