Or better known as Russ "Baby Face" Lindsay to the AC Fans.  You did forget Stone "Diesel" Cummins who started for them last year on the O and D line.  I see him getting some carries this year after losing Gallaher and Moog.

I've not seen him get any carries but they've rotated several RBs. I've seen at least 3 different guys and I've seen them utilize their smaller faster wide receivers with motion and jet sweeps.

How do they look?  Have you seen Clinton play this fall in any scrimmages?

Saw the MoEast scrimmage and they looked still explosive on offense. They still aired it out but seemed much more run oriented offensively but had a lot of moving parts and eye candy with jet motion  with all runs.  I dont know who he was but they had this big bruising back and rotated in faster RB Josh Miller. WR wise they like Austin Elliot but they spread the ball around pretty well and seemed to have a lot of depth at WR.

Defensively as crazy as this sounds I swear they are physically larger up front with their DL and LBs. I know I was told that they physically dominated Rhea Co in a scrimmage with Rhea busting or or two plays.

I saw Clinton scrimmage white co and OZ. White co was basically just JV. Oz had starters in. Felt like Clinton's strong point was their two interior DLineman. I think their DBs are too timid and scared of getting beat deep and need to be more aggressive. Offensively seemed like a standard wingt team but I didnt see much speed with the wings.

I haven't seen AC at all this year. And the only time I've seen Clinton, was at the Jamboree last week. So this is a tough game for me to pick.

I don't think it's going to be a blowout by any means. This game should be closer in my opinion, but will Clinton have enough to pull off the upset? I just don't know.

I hate to pick against my Dragons, but right now I'm gonna say AC 34 Clinton 20

Well 5Star is reporting Farragut kicker transferred to AC. What I been hearing AC needed a kicker/ punter.. Great news cat wait to see him kick.

Looks like field position just got a lot better for AC. That kid is 5* rated kicker

I just looked him up.

Kohl's Kicker Camp and Prokicker.com both have him rated top 25 in nation.

Too much rivalry going into the game to predict a blow out. Rivalries are funny and always bring out the best in teams. Emotions are always high. What I can see is AC while still airing it out are running the ball more. I think with Clinton obviously being heavy run and AC being more run oriented I think the game will move quickly.

Yeah, I can see it going that way. I would think both teams would want to use the run to set up the pass, but both teams may surprise everyone and come out throwing. It will be interesting to see what type of chess match the coaches will put on.

Probably, I was a HS School FB coach for 24 years and an administrator 16 years. I try to logically look at things and come to my conclusions. After the conclusions, I bring in the emotions, ribbing, my team type thing. I am wrong a lot but it tends to be a thoughtful wrong.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
