Does G.C. fire their DC Monday? Fired OC for offensive performance a couple weeks ago?  The kids deserve better!!! Heck the taxpayers of G.C. deserve better!!!

You’re  right... the kids deserve better!  If things stay the same (with coaches and the AD), Grundy won’t have a team next year.  Several of the players that are left will transfer schools.  The school board has said several times that they want to stop kids from our county going to other counties to play sports, but instead of fixing this problem the people they have put in place to help fix this problem have made things worse.  Once again they need to clean house on several different levels within the county.

A good place to start is the HC and the AD.  The defense, which the HC is responsible for, allowed on average 40 plus points a game this season.  That average is more than last year’s average, so the person they should fire first should be the HC.  The AD, the HC, and a few others are just worried about the money, the power, and titles..... when the thing they should be worried about are the players and the program.  The only coach that cared about that was let go two weeks ago.   Why?  Because he probably didn’t agree with the three stooges and took a stand for someone that was right for the players and the program.

Lol I know right

I really hate what you are saying for your kids. Pretty commendable that your son would play through what he has. Good luck to him in his military career. It sounds like he has the mental and physical toughness to serve our country well.

He has the brains , athletic ability and discipline to be a fighter pilot.( I know this because a man right now I played college ball with and looked to every Saturday is one)

The kid is unreal......  I wish y’all got him healthy , put him on any other team in the state and he’s an all state football player.......

He’d start somewhere at any classification of the sport.  I’ve said it once , I’ve said it a hundred times....... Him and his brother are the best football players I’ve ever met.... their knowledge of the game as 11-13 year olds surpassed many of their own coaches , which made coaching them a welcomed challenge, and they rose to the occasion for every challenge I ever threw at them!

The kid has “it”if he doesn’t want to be in the military , he’d be a world class professional CrossFit athlete, or could play on Saturday..

and with that , I bid you adieu coach t.......  My interest in HS football is solely with hoping these young men i once coached, got everything they wanted out of football with the hopes that some of them would go on to play on Saturdays and get to experience how awesome that is compared to Friday night lights.....(the only one left is Brayden Sanders at South Pitt, and he’s gonna be just fine)

While the lights are great an all and definitely a unique experience.......

Nothing will ever top the experience of a sunny fall Saturday 1:00 kickoff.........

Nick Meeks is a GC HOF’er.......and the circle you know what that has become the HOF in Grundy (bunch of old men patting each other on the hind end for what they couldn’t do today considering the times and advances in the sport) will probably never give the man who set the Standard for throwing the football  in Grundy county the honor he deserves......

No one, and I mean no one, has done more for that program, while I was driving 30 percent of the team to practice , he was driving another 30 percent of the team to practice......... he just has more patience then I do, (what Colquette told me I needed to have with the then HC) and could tolerate it......

If you’re a GC football fan you owe nick Meeks a thank you for every single W the program has experienced since Nick Bryant was HC....

Oh and Rueben, you’re flat out an idiot And setting up your own child to fail miserably if you continue down this road....   Do what my college football coach told me my freshman year of football....... and put him in the best position to succeed while never putting on the field a young man who will embarrass himself...

To Coach Hayworth.......   you better find a pair of footballs, my man.......  you let the school board dictate your staff and system, instead of playing to your strengths you’re gonna go 1-39.....

good bye coach t ! And best of luck to Grundy ...... y’all gonna need it!
