It’s kinda like Vandy and UT.  No matter what vandy does, UT will always be the better program.  Heritage will always be White House’s little brother lol.

Heck, Heritage hasn’t been around as long as WH has. I remember those days when BDP was pulling players from both Robertson & Sumner Counties. I also remember, the school managing enrollment so y’all wouldn’t bump up to 4A from 3A. Of course, that’s back when it went up to 5A.

Looking forward to the 2nd Half of the season. Tonight’s game against Portland is the first game Heritage had all their starters healthy. And like WH, the Patriots  haven’t  had an off week like Springfield, Greenbrier, etc. If Heritage can play clean football against Portland, they should be 5-1 after tonight’s contest.

5-1 feels mighty good doesn’t it?

Yes Sir. Heritage has a tough stretch ahead, but I like how it sets up! The Patriots have 3 out of their last 4 at Home. They Host Creekwood Friday night, then go to BDP before getting a much needed BYE Week. After the BYE, they Host Westmoreland followed by Montgomery Central to close the regular season out. Heritage should Win at least 2 of the 4. I hope they Win all 4, but I’m not sure they will. The biggest concern for me is still up front on both sides of the ball. The O-Line don’t fire off the ball and the D-Line doesn’t crowd the ball. Also, the Patriots have to clean the tackling up. And one other thing, is they will have to play a full game each contest. Friday night, Heritage was up 35-7 at the start of the 4th and they subbed in back ups and gave up 2 quick TD’s. Coach Dickerson then had to put the starters back in.  I don’t look for any backups to plays the next two games. It should be a fun ride!
