Due to the delays or cancellations of schedules in response to Coronovirus, many of you may have lost some games.

We are an independent home-schooled softball team out of Middle TN and have a number of open dates if you are looking to add games due to schools cancelling.

We can play both Varsity or JV depending on your level of High School team and are not bound by a district or TSSAA.  We also don't have a field so we can come to you within reason.

Head Coach:  Scott Miller 214-558-8918

Assist Coach: Tim Wood 615-497-0936

Assist Coach:  Mark Olive 203-640-6209

Schedule Assistant:  Jennifer Case:  ladyknightssoftballhs@gmail.com

Greatly appreciate you for doing your part to help stop the spread and transmission of the coronavirus.  I mean....after all.....a game is MUCH more important than some pandemic currently affecting the world!!  Maybe, after the games are over, we can all pack into a local bar like sardines to celebrate our self importance!!!!

The sky isn't falling in everyone's world.

Not falling in mine either.  Take the time to educate yourself....I did.  Being willfully ignorant is no excuse

Thank you for the advice, o wise one. After reading your comment I immediately sought out a safe space. There were others there that I could wail with as we gnashed our teeth while wearing our tinfoil hats. Due to the social distancing rule we couldn't do the group hug thingy, though.  I finally drifted off to sleep as some of the others were crying for their mommies.

The sky may not be falling but we should ALL try to help in preventing the spread of this virus. Sports is a place where we should learn how to sacrifice for the team. I think we can all miss a few games if it helps our country. Let's all pull together for a few weeks.

Ya know....if that's the approach you wish to take, then that is certainly within your rights.   But, I truly wish you and your family the best during these unprecedented times.

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
