Great Job Donovan Stewart on breaking down each classification statewide over the last month and a half.  That was great stuff.  I compiled this information in the following ways.  Enjoy!

 

9 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 100+ Games

23 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 90+ Games

36 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 80+ Games

 

That's pretty elite company and after this the numbers really make a drastic jump (around 40 schools make up the difference to each landmark).  

 

74 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 70+ Games

116 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 60+ Games

155 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 50+ Games

206 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 40+ Games

242 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 30+ Games

283 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 20+ Games

300 = The # of Programs Statewide to Win 10+ Games (Rockvale, Bluff City, and Memphis Business are all have played 10 of fewer games)

 

The only other football playing school from the past decade not accounted for is Cannon County (9-91).

1 = Teams With Less Than 10 Losses:  Maryville (7)

3 = Teams With Less Than 20 Losses:  Greeneville (14), Alcoa (15), Whitehaven (18)

8 = Teams With Less Than 30 Losses:  Oakland (22), Henry County/Greenback (25), Elizabethton (26), South Pittsburg/Huntingdon (27), Trousdale County (28), Fairview (29)

20 = Teams With Less Than 40 Losses:  Hampton (31), Fulton/Blackman (32), Peabody/Coalfield/Beech/Oak Ridge (33), Union City/Covington/Dresden/Mt. Looks like Anderson County has 91 wins in that span, with most of the decade spent in 5A.  I am ready to see what they do this decade, it looks like a promising start if we can  stay healthy and have a full season.  I hope our team will come back off the dead period ready for an explosive season in 2020 to start the decade off on a positive , much like the 2010 team did with a 10 win season,.

      Marion had no answer for groves last year and he’s added a lot of weight since last year already. And the other groves Marion couldn’t block…he’ll be back.

      Hmmmmm……doe dee doe doe….i drove the lawnmower down to practice today…….hmmmm…… we got some new faces………. One can run faster than my lawnmower in fifth gear…… a few will be disappointed come November that they jumped ship and went down to that sewage facility……. You can bet the lawnmower on that.

      I don't know what's going on in the town of McMinnville, but I've read this and it's disturbing.  I'm a "player" person, and I want what's best for the player. If a player gets cut off the team because she said the "F word" then good grief. I mean, come on guys. I wish there was a way for the player to transfer to a different program and just play ball. There are a lot of athletes that are stuck because they're in crappy situations regarding their team/coach. This is player just happens to be one them.

      Won't happen. College coaches will back the coach every time and it cost this young lady her senior season. Looks like the player may be right on this one. School let her  go after one season. This stuff happens more than you think.
