Now that the Washington Redskins will no longer be known as the Redskins what does that mean for schools like Loudon who have used this as their nickname for years?

I assumed he was referring to the national organizations that are attacking the Washington team.  Maryville is a petition within the community from my understanding.

Maryville is being attacked. Petition is just the tool to carry out said attack. Either way it’s all ridiculous.

Remember the nerd that carried the flag in the band, or the ugly girl that couldn't get a date or the guy that went to the prom alone or the fat boy that couldn't walk and chew chewing gum at the same time or maybe the boy that set in class and wee weed in his pants because he was scared to go to the bathroom. Well they have all grown up and have a mission. Revenge of the Nerds Maryville Style. All those years setting around sulking about that stuff finally did something to them when they had all that free time at home quarantined with nothing better to do than write an article in the local paper and get the other outcast joining in. Not only does most of these losers live out of town but never go to any games and if they did someone would have to explain what a touchdown is to them. Just like everything else in America for 2020, troublemakers every corner you turn and guess where they learned this stuff my friends.

Franklin High School is probably changing theirs.  What's sad is that most of the ones that want it changed do not go to school there, live there, or just someone trying raise a stink.
