I think Ryan is scheduled to play at Pope on 9/11.  Is that still the case?

That would have been awesome!!  So you guys are playing Bartlett at our place?  This will be the second time in two weeks we have let another game happen at our field.  Hope you enjoy the new stadium.

For anyone planning to go to a game this Friday: don't expect to be able to buy tickets on the day of the game. In at least some venues, if not most/all, they're avoiding any cash purchases to minimize the risk of COVID-19. Plan ahead!

Father Ryan is set to open the season at JP2 on Sep. 11. FRHS only had four home games slated for 2020, but they'll keep them all at this point. FRHS won't get to play against South Warren (KY) game in the Rafferty's Bowl at WKU, nor will they have a road game at BGA.

FRHS at Baylor in Chattanooga had been scheduled for September 4. But with the start of the Father Ryan season delayed until after Labor Day, they moved that game to October 9. Every effort will be made to play the region games, I imagine.

JP2 plays at Smyrna this Friday. And if the schedule holds as it's set now (it's 2020 so everything is subject to change), JP2 will have played three games (at Smyrna, vs. Lipscomb, at Briarcrest) by the time they defend the Bishop's Cup vs. Father Ryan.

It will be interesting to see what some of these schools do for live game broadcasts. I've been told Brentwood Academy will be working with a different company for its football game livestreams this year.

Hey BT28 if you come into town tonight I hope you have a safe trip and good luck to your team. Hope you put a beat down on Bartlett. Let me know what you think about the new stadium after you see it.

      They did a 10 play series deal instead of down and distance. LC scored twice but if it had been an actual game neither would have mattered because they turned over the ball twice with Sweetwater forcing fumbles both times. LC only scored on the 2nd stringers as well. Defense is looking solid and the offense has a good running back and receiver who did not play last year but made several great catches during the scrimmage, I believe the cats had some key pieces missing with baseball and track still being in season at the time. Considering the wildcats were matched up against a 5A school the cats held their own and forced multiple turnovers while also creating scoring opportunities against the LC defense.

      I don’t see any of them guys why leave programs to go there with no community backing or anything. Word up here on the hill is davy and veto into it over whose kid should be q b for jr high. Tough times in tc hope it all changes with a new face. And once again we aren’t giving up shoulders. And he doesn’t want that crap down there lol

      Whoever gets hired I don’t think they will be there long, they’ll get ran out of town because they can’t win a tough region with a pee wee team.
