Mcewen Travels to 2A powerhouse Waverly

McEwen has some big boys that’s for sure. They looked like they was dying. Walking to the huddle. Walking to the sidelines. Most play both sides of the ball. DBs don’t cover well in the pass. Looks like 44 and 49 carry the mail on the buck sweeps. 27 runs the reverse. QB doesn’t appear to throw well, well enough to hit the flat and drag across. 
 

As big as they are, they allowed Perry Co to run right up the gut. Was expecting more since @Orangecountry has been talking so much smack after one game. 

Mcewen runs the same option as last year y’all couldn’t stop. Other than a kick return and two long runs to the outside Perry co did not get much up the middle. We gave them short fields and lots of penalties that kept drives going. Also if the corners didn’t cover well how did they get 5 picks. Mcewen will obviously run clock like last year and not score as fast. Do you really think Waverlys dline will stop the run?

5 picks cuz Perry County can’t throw. Every ball was under thrown or inaccurate or both. I do think our defense will stop the run. Do I think they will shut it down? No. But they will Control it. Our defense is much improved from last year. More experienced defensive coordinator. They will be prepared. And I don’t think your defense will be able to keep up with our offense. Too many skill guys and too much speed. Oh, and we have a big back that’s similar to your two that I think is 10x more athletic. Our QB is accurate and can throw the ball all over the place. I think McEwen scores, but I think Waverly outscores McEwen by at least 3 TDs.

I’ve watched Waverly play Huntington and Hickman. Your line lets your QB get killed. He has to roll out almost every play and you don't have anyone close to the size and athleticism of Tommy Wills remember Mcewen is just up the road ive seen every kid on Waverly. Kevin Bradley was the biggest athlete y’all would have had this year if he didn’t go to a better program . Beat your chest on the Hickman Co win but remember it was a struggle for y’all to score most of the game and Perry Co beat them too.

Lol and not to mention y’all had a dline of monsters last year. Even Rumsey who was all state and still couldn’t stop the run against us.

I’ve heard that too. It would be a shame. Even though I smack talk. I pull for both teams I know just as many kids on Waverly as Mcewen and I was one hoping for one big high school but.

Well Waverly had a ton sent home today and quarantined. Take it for what it’s worth I’m hearing the whole county could be closed 14 more days
